David's career in public accounting started in 1969 and he became CFO at Gifford Memorial Hospital in 1973. He was President of the NH-VT Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and licensed as a Registered Public Accounting and CPA. He was Vice President of U.S. Operations position for Garmont Sports in 1979, and in 1981 he started the firm David H. Angolano, CPA, which later became Angolano & Company.

Impressive appointments

He was also CPA for the State of Vermont Agency of Human Services and the Principal Assistant to the Director of the Division of Rate Setting. In 1990 he was appointed to the Higher Education Study Commitment by Governor Kunin to review Vermont Colleges and find ways students could gain access to an affordable college education.

David became a Diplomat of the American Board of Forensic Accounting in 1997 and is currently a Fellow with the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute. He received his Certificate of Educational Achievement in tax from the AICPA, and holds an Associate of Science degree in Accounting from Champlain College, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Norwich University, and completed graduate work at Boston University. David also holds the Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation.
